Scholarship Opportunity

The1257 is a small boutique in Roseburg that is focused on providing clothing and gifts for everyday life. Our pledge is to give back to this community that has supported us so much.

The sale of our RHS Indian Gear helps provide this scholarship for graduating Roseburg High School Seniors who are furthering their education through a trade school or college.

To apply for our scholarship you will need to meet the following criteria:
1 - Must be a graduating senior of Roseburg High School.
2 - Must be continuing onto either a trade school, junior college or 4 year college

Applications will be accepted until March 4th 2024.

Scholarship will be awarded on April 5th, 2024

This is a 2 step application process.  

Please fill out the application here

You will need to fully fill out the application and then also submit the following:

• 3 letters of recommendation: 1 -Teacher/counselor 1- Community member/employer 1- friend
  
  
• 3 photos from your time as a Roseburg Indian and explain why they are important to you. (i.e. a game attended, a favorite gathering spot, your best class, a test paper you didn't think you'd pass)
  
  
• 500 word Essay Question: Wherever you land we hope this gift would inspire you to give back to your community. How can you see yourself being involved in or giving back and helping others?
